Melodie Lopez represented me in an SUV/bicycle collision which earned me an airlift from the site. I was certain that I did not want to deal with insurance companies solo, so I called Lopez and Humphries and found myself talking to Melodie. This was one of the best decisions of my life. Everyone I met or spoke with at the firm was on top of their game: fully informed, realistic and helpful throughout. My brief contacts with Kevin Humphries were pleasant; he is a professional and a gentleman. Melodie was impressively well-organized, detailed and able to make matters clear for me in the relaxed, practiced manner of one long experienced in her profession. I worked with two law firms on my disability case. I never met, spoke with, or heard from my first lawyer until my hearing date. Suprise, I lost. Then I found Lopez and Humphreys. Face to face meetings, calls, emails and even text messages. Constant contact making sure we were ready for the hearing. Yes we won. I now have my disability benefits and they are still contacting me to make sure everything is going okay. To Lopez and Humphreys, my sincerest thank you. You have given me my life back. After being denied SS Disability twice, I hired Lopez and Humphries. I had found out I was denied twice by social security, without them ever requesting one record from my numerous doctors. I decided to hire them by word of mouth. I am so thankful I did. My case had seemed to speed up, records were being requested, and the ball seemed to be in our court for once. To make things worse we were right in the middle of a pandemic. My case ended up in front of an ALJ by phone. Attorneys Humphries and Dixon got me through the mess with ease and comfort. I felt well represented and taken care of. If I had a question Carmen was always there to help. I was finally approved! It would not have been possible without Lopez and Humphries. Would give 0 stars if I could. What they advertise is being able to get in contact with someone so easily is a joke. They do not communicate with there clients either. So if you’re looking to be able to stay on top of everything and be kept in the loop , look elsewhere. Literally called in weeks later because no one had communicated anything to me to be told they were awaiting to reject my case after I acquired there 3rd party’s medical bills. Being 8 months pregnant this is something you want to hear right before you go out of work.

Candice Dixson was my attorney with Lopez and Humphries, assisted by Carmen Luciano for my disability claim. They were great! I was so nervous and completely lost in paperwork not to mention the medications I take make it difficult to concentrate sometimes. They were so kind and easy to talk to. They talked to me..not AT me. I emailed their offices a lot and was never made to feel silly or ignored. When I was told someone would be calling me I received that call- on time and Attorney Dixson made me feel like she was personally invested in my case. She never made promises to me regarding outcomes and was honest regarding potential weaknesses in my case. There were two areas that stood out to me. 1. Was how familiar attorney Dixson actually was with my case. She knew my medical history almost as well as I did. 2. Candice and Carmen never drug their feet obtaining medical documentation and making sure it was submitted to my file for the judges review. What a great experience all around. Thank you so much for your helping me get the benefits I needed.

I was involved in a very unfortunate situation - involved myself out right being accused of something that I just didn’t do. Kevin Humphries took on my case, got all the administrative stuff rolling and my case is dropped and no billed. Without hesitation, I got a call from their office ( wasn’t expecting, I was just glad case was dropped ) and I was notified that Mr Humphries returned all the money I had already paid him. I called and he told me he was not going to charge me for something that he did not do. I recommend this firm - I have used Lopez & Humphries 3 times before and I’ve been well compensated and treated delightfully. No bs, just good people seeing to it that their costumers are treated well and also that they are well represented.

Hired for social security disability. Saw lawyer when i first hired them. After that i never saw a lawyer again. I would call , no response returned.Gave me two different paralegals.Only thing they did was schedule hearing. One day before hearing they call telling me hearing was postponed. Got a new hearing and the paralegal they sent , not a lawyer, did not have clue. I won case on my own cause paralegal maybe said five words I would never hire them again. Guess they were happy when they took my money for nothing.
