I would like to take the time to say this lawyer is very unprofessional. I was with them for about 6 months and I finally got a hearing date. The week of my hearing I unfortunately got covid and I wasn't doing good at all. I tried my hardest to fight my symptoms so I wouldn't have to reschedule. The day before my hearing I spoke with meldoit lopez and she sounded very frustrated and started saying my case was weak and the judge for my hearing was very difficult in appointment people under 50 years old. She also made another comment saying theh don't usually take case with people under 50 but she will try. How are you my lawyer ive been working woth you for 6 months and the day before my hearing you tell me ik basically out of luck. So that night I was going down even more due to covod and I called to reschedule. I then was told not to worry they will reschedule. I then received a letter 4 days later stating she dropped me and they no longer take people under 50 years old. How can you be so cruel to drop me out thw blue after working with me so long and I had to reschedule due to covid so cold I would not recommend them to anyone very unprofessional.

Would give 0 stars if I could. What they advertise is being able to get in contact with someone so easily is a joke. They do not communicate with there clients either. So if you’re looking to be able to stay on top of everything and be kept in the loop , look elsewhere. Literally called in weeks later because no one had communicated anything to me to be told they were awaiting to reject my case after I acquired there 3rd party’s medical bills. Being 8 months pregnant this is something you want to hear right before you go out of work.

I'm sorry to hear you felt that way. Due to law restrictions, we cannot discuss the details of the case. However, we work diligently to recover for our clients. If there becomes a question of liability or a lack of coverage (which would result in no one to recover from) unfortunately, we are left with no option but to withdraw from the case. Even when this happens there is no cost to the client for any time, work or money that was already put into the case. Contacted them about my DEO issues in April 2020 it's now August and they haven't returned my call. They have all my information including my ss# I was in tears and reassured they would help. It's so sad that our community has forgotten us.

Not good, Melody Lopez lost my 2 disability cases. Did not do or said anything at the hearing. Her paperwork was not in order, she did not know anything about the cases. Waste of time.

Hired for social security disability. Saw lawyer when i first hired them. After that i never saw a lawyer again. I would call , no response returned.Gave me two different paralegals.Only thing they did was schedule hearing. One day before hearing they call telling me hearing was postponed. Got a new hearing and the paralegal they sent , not a lawyer, did not have clue. I won case on my own cause paralegal maybe said five words I would never hire them again. Guess they were happy when they took my money for nothing.

We are sorry that you feel that way. We work hard to make sure that each and every one of our clients’ cases are ready for hearing. We spend our own money and staff hours during the several months after application, request for reconsideration and request for hearing stages to make sure that all of your medical records are obtained and properly filed as exhibits from all the medical providers that you have treated with in relation to your condition. Often times this is work that we do in our office behind the scenes as our clients are already stressed out enough regarding their situation and do not need additional stress regarding administrative issues. We only have attorneys represent our clients. By law PARALEGALS cannot even show up at a hearing. Additionally, we always have our attorneys do a prehearing conference with our clients. So you had to have contact with the lawyer immediately before your hearing and you are mistaken in your presumption that a paralegal accompanied you there. We are also aware of when our clients are winning their case at hearing and there is no necessity to ask additional questions of a client or to open the door to an issue that may be adverse to our position. In short, we know based on the judge’s questions to a vocational expert in relation to your work limitations and that expert’s testimony, what the conclusion of your claim will be. If there is no work that the claimant can perform with certain limitations as articulated by the vocational expert then there is no need for your attorney representative to ask any additional questions. In fact, additional questions could open the door to new information that may sway the judges opinion your claim when pursuant to the law they must grant you benefits under the testimony given. Under those circumstances it would be a disservice and ineffective assistance of counsel to our clients to just ask questions and pontificate to hear ourselves talk when we know we have already won the case. I hope that you take the time to call us personally if you’d like to speak about this issue so that we may be able to explain it better. We apologize for not explaining this more thoroughly to you and as always wish you the best.

Wasn't represented by this firm,and would deffenently never hire them. I did have to pay out of pocket 10.200 dollars to close the case they brought against me In Hope's they would stop harassing me and my wife on a bogus dog bite. Individual named roosevelt roundtree claimed to be bitten by my dog,after my investigation Turns out the animal control report showed he was at a different location and I didn't own the type of dog that suposively bit him. Imagine That.

My mom just left Mr. Humphries office. He was extremely rude. She called their office and asked about a free consultation regarding workers compensation and the lady on the phone was nice and her an appointment for today because she was surprised that my mom was being jerked around by the insurance company and her employer for the last month and that they could help file a petition for benefits. When she arrived Mr. Humphries was in a bad mood and after she filled out pages of details and offered her own notes for him to copy and review he slid a paper over to her that said he would get 25% of her benefits, she explained that was too high and she wouldn't be able to live. Once he heard that, he dropped the stack of papers in front her, stood up and said, "When you're serious about getting a lawyer and your benefits come back, I have a trial to prepare for." and walked out of the room. Unless you're going bring $$$$ into his office I would advise you to look elsewhere.

Mr. Wilber, It is unfortunate you were not able to come to the appointment as well. I believe there has been a loss in communication. Our law firm strives for excellence in client relations- which is reflected in our numerous 5 star reviews. I met with a potential client (who I believe you are referring to) today. After our seasoned paralegal spoke for over an hour with her and made the appointment, she arrived 20 minutes late. I shifted my schedule to accommodate her and even extended well beyond the 30minutes allotted on a new consult. At no point was any out of pocket expense discussed. This particular case is purely based on a percentage of what I am able to obtain, meaning that all time an expense on the case are costs I incur. The consultation was free and if she wished to proceed she would need to sign an agreement for representation- she said she did not feel comfortable doing so at this time and I let her know we are here if she decides to proceed.

This place is a joke, they set up a meeting with you and tell you what you need. You try to get a hold of them to see if there is anything else you need while getting some records back and wait and wait till finally being told they on longer can take your certain case, no phone call. Money spent on records and endless phone calls for nothing.
